SANGOPITA, the name derived from Sanskrit word “Sangopan” means upbringing and hence our aim at Sangopita is to have an over-all upbringing of our beneficiaries. Sangopita caters to the needs of the ones needing special care and ensuring them a life full of dignity and joy. We are committed to provide quality service in our day care and residential shelter home for people with special needs both mental and physical.

SANGOPITA is registered under Bombay Public Charitable Trust as an NGO in 2003 started working with 2 children and provide apt care to its over 60 beneficiaries today through the two centers run by the organization. It is also registered under Section 12 A and 80 G of Income Tax Act, 1961 and Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010.

We have been recognized for our devoted efforts by various corporations who have supported us for running our projects successfully in last 16 years.

Sangopita is an organization that epitomizes passionate and involved parenting where each member is helped to reach his/her maximum potential and more importantly, is treated with dignity. Sangopita offers lifetime residential care to the physically, mentally and sensory impaired and for those with Autism, from mainly the lower socio-economic and impoverished strata of society. Besides residential care, Sangopita also runs a Day Care centre and special school for the physically and mentally impaired, in Badlapur, near Mumbai.
